  • Preferences: topics you choose to follow and delivery settings.
  • Session data: authentication cookies stored in your browser for the duration of your session.
  • Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect payment information, sell personal data, or track users across third-party sites.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account.
  • To personalize your daily event digest according to your topic preferences.
  • To deliver your digest by email if you have opted in.
  • To monitor system health and prevent abuse.

We do not use your data for advertising or share it with third parties except as described below.

JeruHills is built on Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure. By using the service, your data may be processed by Google LLC under their applicable terms and privacy policies:

  • Firebase Authentication (identity management)
  • Firestore (preference storage)
  • Google Cloud Functions and Cloud Storage (pipeline processing)
  • Gemini API (AI processing of public news content)

5. Data Retention

Account and preference data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing news@jeruhills.com.

We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS, Firebase session cookies with HttpOnly flags, and Google Cloud IAM boundaries to protect your data.
